News letter no7 2013



The admissions process closed on the 21st May 2013. Parents who applied before the closing date will be notified in writing whether their application was successful or not. This process will take place from 22nd July 2013 to 26th July 2013.

Management of late registrations – Late registration begins after the closing date of the application period. After submission of application forms, parents will be issued with a waiting list number and all late registration lists will be submitted to the district office weekly.


Parents are requested to send a letter with a TELEPHONE NUMBER to the school a DAY BEFORE when they request an early departure for their child/ward. Parents must also ensure that their child/ward is fetched from school. No learner will be released to go home alone. Failure to adhere to the above will lead to the child not being allowed to go.  All early departures will be confirmed telephonically.


Exams commence on 3rd June 2013. All learners are expected to be at school every day in the coming two weeks. Educators are teaching until the 31st May 2013.

All learners writing exams are expected to be seated in their exam venues by 07h40, even if they are writing second session. No extra time will be given to latecomers.


Please note that there will be a Parents’ Meeting on the 1st June 2013 at 08h15 to 09h30. We therefore urge all parents to attend. From the desk of the SGB chairperson.


U 15 played Semi- finals against Parklands high School on Thursday 30 May 2013 and won 2-0, they proceed to the finals on Tuesday 4th June 2013.
