ADMISSIONS
- The admissions process closed on the 21st May 2013. Parents who applied before the closing date will be notified in writing whether their application was successful or not. This process will take place from 22nd July 2013 to 26th July 2013.
- Management of late registrations – Late registration begins after the closing date of the application period. After submission of application forms, parents will be issued with a waiting list number and all late registration lists will be submitted to the district office weekly.
EARLY DEPARTURE
Parents are requested to send a letter with a TELEPHONE NUMBER to the school a DAY BEFORE when they request an early departure for their child/ward. Parents must also ensure that their child/ward is fetched from school. No learner will be released to go home alone. Failure to adhere to the above will lead to the child not being allowed to go. All early departures will be confirmed telephonically.
JUNE EXAMS
Exams commence on 3rd June 2013. All learners are expected to be at school every day in the coming two weeks. Educators are teaching until the 31st May 2013.
All learners writing exams are expected to be seated in their exam venues by 07h40, even if they are writing second session. No extra time will be given to latecomers.
PARENTS
Please note that there will be a Parents’ Meeting on the 1st June 2013 at 08h15 to 09h30. We therefore urge all parents to attend. From the desk of the SGB chairperson.
SOCCER
U 15 played Semi- finals against Parklands high School on Thursday 30 May 2013 and won 2-0, they proceed to the finals on Tuesday 4th June 2013.

SCHOOL FEES (2013/4)
DINWIDDIE HIGH IS A FEE PAYING SCHOOL AND IS RANKED QUINTILE 5, THEREFORE PARENTS MUST PAY SCHOOL FEES.
The school fees for 2014 will be R6000, 00 per learner, per annum, payable over 10 months (January to October)
- R2000, 00 payable on registration.
- The Balance (R4000,00) payable as follows:
- R400, 00 × 10 months payable by the first of each month from January to October.
- School fees (R6000, 00) paid in full by 31st December 2013 – qualifies for 15% discount, you save R900, 00.
- School fees (R6000, 00) paid in by 1st March 2014 –qualifies for 10% discount, you save R600, 00.
- Parents/Guardians with two or more children in the school qualify for 5% discount and if school fees (R6000, 00 for one child) is paid in full by 31st December 2013, an additional 15% will be granted.
- Parents with two or more children in the school qualify for 5% discount and if school fees are paid in full by 1st March 2014 an additional 10% will be granted.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ABOVE DATES WILL BE ADHERED TO AND NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR LATE PAYMENTS.
- PAYMENTS OPTIONS
- Stop order is available at school on requests
- The child`s full name and surname including a grade must be used as a reference on the debit/internet payments.
- Should the debit order be cancelled or not honoured for any reason, the full monthly school fees of R600,00 will become due with immediate effect.

Exemptions
Exemption will be granted as per the Education Laws Amendment Act (SAS 84 of 1996). Should you be eligible for an exemption of the above fees, contact the finance office for further details.
Legal action will be taken against parents who do not pay school fees.
